چکیده
Abstract Let $$A_{\varphi }$$ A φ denote the matrix of rotation with angle $$\varphi $$ Euclidean plane, FLOOR function which rounds a real point to nearest lattice down on left and ROUND for rounding off vector node lattice. We prove under natural assumption \not = k\frac{\pi }{2}$$ ≠ k π 2 that functions $${{\,\mathrm{FLOOR}\,}}\circ A_{\varphi FLOOR ∘ $${{\,\mathrm{ROUND}\,}}\circ ROUND are neither surjective nor injective. More precisely we lower upper estimates size sets points, image two points as well have no preimages. It turns out densities those positive.

On digital plane preimage structure
In digital geometry, digital straightness is an important concept both for practical motivations and theoretical interests. Concerning the digital straightness in dimension 2, many digital straight line characterizations exist and the digital straight segment preimage is well known. In this article, we investigate the preimage associated to digital planes. More precisely, we present first struc...
متن کاملParabolic equations on digital spaces. Solutions on the digital Moebius strip and the digital projective plane
In this work, we define a parabolic equation on digital spaces and study its properties. The equation can be used in investigation of mechanical, aerodynamic, structural and technological properties of a Moebius strip, which is used as a basic element of a new configuration of an airplane wing. Condition for existence of exact solutions by a matrix method and a method of separation of variables...
متن کاملThe Effect of Glenohumeral Rotation on Scapular Upward Rotation in Different Positions of Scapular-Plane Elevation
Context: Glenohumeral and scapular upward rotation are important factors in functional upper extremity motion. Objectives: To determine how different amounts of glenohumeral rotation (internal, external, and neutral) affect scapular upward rotation. Design: Controlled laboratory study. Independent variables were the amounts of internal, external, and neutral glenohumeral rotation. The dependent...
متن کاملAchieving visual object constancy across plane rotation and depth rotation.
Visual object constancy is the ability to recognise an object from its image despite variation in the image when the object is viewed from different angles. I describe research which probes the human visual system's ability to achieve object constancy across plane rotation and depth rotation. I focus on the ecologically important case of recognising familiar objects, although the recognition of...
متن کاملFace Detection with In - Plane Rotation :
This paper presents a method for extending upright, frontal, template-based face detection systems to eeciently handle all in-plane rotations. Detecting rotated faces is a two step procedure. First a \De-Rotation" network is used to process each input window. If there is a face in the window, this network determines its angle of rotation. Based upon this estimated angle of rotation, the window ...
